My eldest son wanted carrots badly and my husband wanted me to try a generic topsy turvy that I got on clearance VERY cheap last year for strawberries on our 3 season porch. So that makes carrots, sugar peas, tomatoes, chives and strawberries this year. It's not a lot but enough for us:)

I am doing my usual flower planting and trading transplants/seeds with friends and family.

Can't wait to see your pictures I hope to have some up soon too:)Khryshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15476130696050075285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1726486580133913510.post-90786866883942500912011-04-11T08:13:46.954-04:002011-04-11T08:13:46.954-04:00Oh Daisy, we all must have Spring Fever!!!! Before I went to New Zealand (North Island where there's not much snow), you just don't know how I'm looking forward to what is it like to have a winter season. Now, I realized that winter is quite harsh for someone who is not used to it. My sister and I traveled to Battle Creek, Marshall and Vicksburg a couple weeks ago to get some much needed supplies down there for the people and animals! I'll go into more detail in my post! Also, the vet my sister works for has been working in the Wildlife hospital down there. I am waiting for an update on that. As far as I can tell it is ongoing. There has been a temporary hold on donations as they have had a lot come in and are now out of space for more until some of the stuff gets used. So they are asking people to hold off for now! People in many different Michigan towns have been helping out! I have family that live in some of these towns that are affected and they are worried, but hopeful. I'll get a more detailed update up. I have had some severe computer issues and had to back it up along with a total reformat! It has been a slow process for me to get everything back on-line previous to the malware virus that got me!

Sincerely,
KhrysaniaKhryshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15476130696050075285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1726486580133913510.post-70078366270446306932010-08-18T00:19:29.136-04:002010-08-18T00:19:29.136-04:00Beautiful post. I am going to miss our cuddling time which has greatly been reduced over the last year or so. I know when they get older there will be less, but I still hope they will be willing to have hugs and kisses from their mom later on.

Where does the time go? I find myself asking that question all the time. The one thing that I do is make every day an adventure for them and make sure we do great things together (even if it is just a walk). Soon enough they will be teenagers so your advice is very welcome.

Sincerely,
KhrysKhryshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15476130696050075285noreply@blogger.com
